What exactly is floor leveling?
Leveling means making the subfloor flat and level with a leveling compound or cast floor mortar. Imperfections, holes and height differences disappear, so that the new floor is equally well supported everywhere. Whether you have a cast floor, tiles, PVC or parquet laid: a flat subfloor is always the starting point.
What goes wrong without leveling?
A new floor on an uneven surface will sooner or later cause problems. Think of loose tiles, hollow-sounding spots, gaps between parquet parts and, in the worst case, a floor that creaks or breaks. Repairs afterwards always cost more than doing it right the first time.

The right preparation
